I BISOGNI DEL PAZIENTE PER LA SCELTA DEL FARMACO E LA CONTINUITA’ TERAPEUTICA, NELLA GESTIONE CONDIVISA DEL MEDICO DI MEDICINA GENERALE E DEL CARDIOLOGO

La terapia della fibrillazione atriale non valvolare, una volta esauriti i tentativi di “rimettere in ritmo” la frequenza cardiaca, consiste essenzialmente nella terapia anticoagulante orale cronica. La scelta del farmaco, e la sua modalità di somministrazione, sono un tema in continua evoluzione anche grazie ai cosiddetti “Nuovi Anticoagulanti Orali”, meglio definiti come DOACs (dall’inglese direct-acting oral anticoagulants) che, aggiunti, se necessario, agli anti-Vitamina K, sono lo strumento che il medico ha a disposizione per impostare il regime terapeutico.
In tal senso, l’apertura prescrittiva alla Medicina Generale, prevista dalla nuova nota 97 AIFA, ha richiesto il consolidamento di conoscenze necessarie all’appropriata prescrizione terapeutica.
Il format delle prospettive angolari consente un “confronto” tra specialisti utile ad apprendere i diversi punti di vista finalizzati a fornire al Medico di Medicina Generale pragmatiche conoscenze necessarie alla gestione di questa tipologia di pazienti.
